Yaneiry immigrated to the United States when she was a child. The daughter of hardworking farmers who lived in the coffee-growing regions of Honduras, Yaneiry grew up with a strong sense of community. As a young leader, Yaneiry has been at the forefront of initiatives that help other immigrants find resources, guidance and support as they adapt to life in the United States.
She is currently studying accounting at Ridgewater College, in Willmar, MN, where she continues to build the necessary tools to contribute significantly to the local economy and empower other young Latina women. Yaneiry is a mother of a baby, which has deepened her commitment to creating a better future for both her child and her community.
With her innovative spirit and dedication, Yaneiry is an inspiring example of leadership for youth, reflecting the strength of immigrants and the positive impact they can have in their communities.
