Rogelio Reyes Gutiérrez is a leader with a strong background in public accounting and business administration, and his work on his MBA is ongoing. His extensive international experience and key roles within prominent companies in Mexico stand out over his career.
Rogelio began his professional career at renowned audit firms such as PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte, where he developed critical skills in auditing and financial consulting. Later, Rogelio spent more than two decades as controller general at a leading communications company in Querétaro, Mexico. In this role, he led strategic functions in critical areas including taxes, treasury, accounting, finance, and real estate, successfully navigating significant challenges during economic crises and the pandemic, as well as managing key negotiations with governmental entities, suppliers, creditors and personnel.
In addition to his corporate career, Rogelio has actively contributed as treasurer of the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IMEF), a leading organization that brings together experts responsible for strategic financial decisions.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Rogelio treasures time spent with his family and friends. Married to Maricarmen, he is the proud father of three college-age children. Rogelio finds passion in soccer, both Mexican and international, and enthusiastically follows the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL. He also has a deep appreciation for music in all its forms.
In his current role as business development associate at LEDC, Rogelio finds fulfillment in serving Minnesota’s Latino community. Rogelio is dedicated to supporting Latino entrepreneurs by providing them with the tools and resources necessary to turn their business dreams into realities.
