René studied foreign trade, integration and customs before beginning his career at Banco Pichincha, a bank in his native Ecuador. There, he excelled in operations, where he managed the bank’s services department. He joined LEDC at the beginning of 2024.
“I joined LEDC after learning about their focus and how they impact the Latino community in many different ways. Not only does LEDC care about our clients’ financial goals, we also care about each individual their family. This is truly a family environment,” he says.
René is a sports aficionado, both as a participant and spectator. His teams are Ecuador’s national team, as well as Barcelona FC.
He also enjoys innovating, implementing change and, above all, focusing on community service. “As the child of parents who built their path to the United States, I want to be a link that helps hundreds of families like mine as they undertake their own journeys,” he says.
