Karla recently joined LEDC as a Business Development Associate.
Below Karla shares a little bit about herself:
“It was only when I started living outside of Brazil that I understood what it means to be Latina and the power that we have as a community. Every day many of our people are forced to look for opportunities far from home and, over time, they learn how to transform these new places into their homes.
Since my first visit to Buenos Aires and my internship in Guatemala, I have always known that part of my mission as a professional is to understand development in the world and return to my people what is important to us.
Today I have the opportunity to work with economic development for the Latino community living in Minnesota. It is a pleasure and an honor to share some of my knowledge and experience with these amazing humans.
