How long have you been with the organization?

I am working at LEDC since March 2022.

¿Why did you choose to work at LEDC?

LEDC is the ideal space to put at the service of the community, especially Latin Americans, my knowledge and experience in the creation and development of small and medium-sized businesses. I studied economics and finance at university, later obtaining a diploma in business creation and an MBA.

My work experience began in the Ecuadorian automotive industry in an import company where I worked for approximately 5 years in the sales area, later in 2007, I started my own business, dedicated to the import and distribution of auto parts, employing more than a dozen of people, two distribution stores and a car workshop associated with the importing company were created.

Later, until before the pandemic, I worked for the Ecuadorian government office that regulates, controls, and strengthens the cooperative sector, implementing conflict resolution methodologies in these non-profit socio-economic organizations.

Throughout my professional career, creating companies has been my main motivation, because they play a significant role in economic development, especially in developing countries, due to the impact they have on job creation.

My experience as an entrepreneur, administrator, and government employee has allowed me to generate empathy with LEDC clients, from the search for sources of financing to carry out ventures and the ability to generate synergy between knowledge, human talent, and economic resources to achieve business objectives with social responsibility, creating wealth, employment and satisfying the needs of the community.

Share something about yourself, maybe about your family or a passion you enjoy outside of work.

My source of inspiration is my two kids, Aarón and Dámaris, 9 and 19 years old. My daughter is currently preparing to study international business at the University of Mankato, Minnesota and my son currently lives with his mother in Ecuador.

My passion is soccer and volleyball. In my free time, I enjoy playing with friends in various tournaments around the Twin Cities.

We are very grateful to Dennis to be part of the LEDC team!
