Tell me about how long you have served on the board at LEDC and why you chose to donate your time and talents as an LEDC board member.
I have been serving on the LEDC board since August of 2022. Before joining the LEDC board, I was instantly drawn to the LEDC organization after meeting the board, organizational leadership, and its community members and clearly seeing that the LEDC mission and vision were being fostered.
Why do you think it is important to support organizations like LEDC? what skills are you bringing to the table?
As a serial Latino entrepreneur, I must give back and help other Latino entrepreneurs in their journey. I was supported by many during my journey, and it’s imperative to give entrepreneurs the best guidance and tools they need to succeed.
If you have an entrepreneurial or small business background, please share a bit more about that and how that helps you connect with LEDC’s clients.
One of my travel business channels provides specialized travel ticketing and a (PaaS) cloud-based solution to an underserved Hispanic population throughout the United States. Hispanic and Hispanic businesses offer over $1.9 trillion in buying power, and LEDC and its members are contributors to that number.
Tell us about something exciting that gets you out of bed every day, and share about your family or a passion you enjoy outside of work.
My goal is to wake up with a mindset of gratitude and to make sure my thinking aligns with my conviction. Why? One’s thinking determines one’s destiny, and one’s destiny determines one’s legacy.
