Latino Economic Development Center Announces 2025 College/University Scholarship Fund Opportunity

Student Applications Accepted Through May 4

Latino Economic Development Center (LEDC) has announced its newest round of awards from the Latino Scholarship Fund. LEDC will award up to 12 scholarships to Latino/a High School students pursuing a 4-year College Degree or a 2-year Associates or Technical College degree or existing college or university students in subsequent years of their studies. This scholarship is designed to help support the cost of tuition, books, or living expenses while students pursue a post-secondary education.

“I am very excited to be bringing back this important opportunity for Latino/a students in Minnesota” said Alma Flores, LEDC’s new Executive Director. “I know how important securing an education can be in building better futures for our community and the importance of having business partners serve as our collaborators in the development of this fund.”

LEDCs mission and work are designed to support Minnesota’s Latino/a and immigrant communities build generational wealth through successful entrepreneurship. Obtaining a post-secondary education not only gives students the technical tools and skills to achieve their goals, but also provides unlimited opportunities to connect and network with mentors and peers.

LEDC will be accepting scholarship applications beginning April 7th to May 4th, 2025 at 11:59pm. Applications can be found at ledcmn.org/latino-scholarship-fund. Please direct questions to lsf@ledcmn.org.
