Born and mostly raised in Nebraska, Linda lived in Mexico City for several early formative years, cementing her love and pride in her Mexican roots. Having grown up working in her family’s Mexican food business, Linda saw first-hard the hard work, dedication, and sacrifice that many Latino entrepreneurs face. Her experience in the family business drives her passion to help other Latinos establish and build their respective businesses.
Linda’s professional career began as an Assistant Public Defender where she represented clients from the Hispanic community in Omaha. She transitioned to lead international business development for a division of OTC, a Berkshire Hathaway company, traveling extensively throughout Latin America before settling in the Twin Cities. She has extensive experience leading transformational change, and her current role as Principal Organizational Effectiveness Consultant at Pioneer Management Consulting includes leading change strategy, organizational effectiveness, culture and behavior change, organizational design, and leadership development and coaching for Fortune 500 companies. In addition she leads the DEI committee at the firm.
Linda holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma and spent her Junior Year Abroad at the Université de Paris-Sorbonne. She earned her law degree at Creighton University School of Law. She speaks Spanish and French. Her prior volunteer work includes past president of the Annunciation Parent Organization, where she championed for neurodiverse students, funding updated curriculum, training and tutoring spaces for children with learning differences, resulting in increased literacy rates and test scores.
