Prior to joining LEDC in 2020, Heidi worked in the hospitality industry at MGM properties in Las Vegas, Nevada, focusing on cosmetology. After ten years with MGM, a desire to support locally owned businesses inspired her to help open several nail and hair salons in Las Vegas, and support their growth through her expertise in cosmetology and client services. This experience led her to open her own nail studio, which she operated for two years before moving to Minnesota to pursue her passion for helping Latino-owned small businesses through LEDC. She is proud to work for an organization that shares a vision and common goal of supporting the Latino community, loves working with a team that inspires her every day in her own professional and personal growth, and enjoys connecting on a daily basis with Latino business owners. When not working, she loves watching movies and exploring the Twin Cities with her two children.
