Giselle is originally from Peru. She graduated from Universidad del Pacifico with a degree in economics and has been working in small-business development, finance, lending and investments for eight years. In Peru, she worked as a senior structured finance officer and also as the market capital chief in Banco Pichincha del Peru, which is a medium-sized bank in that South American country. Giselle has also earned her graduate degree in nonprofit management from Hamline University.
She brings her passion for racial and economic inclusion to the LEDC team. Giselle’s role includes loan origination, servicing and portfolio management; working directly with entrepreneurs; supporting external and internal loan committees; and CDFI tracking and reporting.
When not at work, you will find Giselle with family and friends, enjoying all that Minnesota’s Latino community has to offer.
