Originally from Leon, Nicaragua, Gerald moved to Minnesota in June 2024. He graduated with a degree in systems engineering from the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua and studied English at the American Alliance Academy.
Since 2016, he has worked in the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector, serving as a credit card specialist at Capital One Bank and as an insurance specialist at several US insurance agencies.
His motivation lies in providing a better future for his family and becoming a better person in all aspects. He enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, mother, and brother, and is a watch enthusiast who values the significance of time.
In his role at LEDC, he feels like part of the machinery that creates opportunities for the Latinx community. He believes every second counts and is committed to using his time to learn and help, guided by his motto of being better than yesterday.
