Community vaccination site at the Minnesota State Fairground

On Monday, April 5th, Governor Tim Walz and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced plans to open a federal community vaccination site on April 14th at the Minnesota State Fairground in Ramsey County. According to state officials, the site will have the capacity to vaccinate 100,000 people against COVID-18 over an 8 week period.

When?

Wednesday, April 14th through Wednesday, July 9th, 2021.

Where?

Minnesota State Fairground, 1680 Como Avenue, Falcon Heights, MN.

Who can make an appointment?

People 16 years and older who live in the zip codes listed on the following image can schedule an appointment:

 How can I make an appointment?
  • To make an appointment, call 1-833-431-2053 Monday through Friday from 9 am to 7 pm or Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm. Interpretation and free public transportation are available.
  • If you would like to be contacted when it’s your turn, you can also sign up for Minnesota’s Vaccine Connector.
  • Refugees and immigrants needing help in any of several languages can call 651-318-0989 Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

  

To schedule an appointment, you’ll need the following information:
  • First and last name, birthdate, and home address.
  • Cell phone number and email address, if you have one.

 

When you go for your shot:
  • – Use a mask and observe social distancing requirements.
  • – You will need to confirm your first and last name, birthdate, and home address.
  • You do not need to show ID.
  • You do not need to have health insurance.

 

Public transportation information:

Minnesota residents getting vaccinated at this site can ride Metro Transit for free. Your appointment confirmation text and email will include your transit pass.
