Workshop: The Structure of Business

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to transform an idea into a successful business in Minnesota. Our business development process consists of the following steps:

Viability: Evaluating the business idea

Will my idea actually work? We begin with clear communication to build a close relationship with our aspiring entrepreneurs. Then we guide them on how to produce a detailed plan that includes everything from general concepts to specific tasks. This way, you’ll have a strong base and road map for your business.

Introduction to common business subjects, such as:
  • Twenty steps for emerging businesses
  • Leadership and communication
  • Innovation
  • Market analysis
  • Tools for social media promotion
  • Finance-related concepts, including budgeting, budget management, savings and reserves, access to capital, credit management, break-even point, cash flow and accounting basics

The workshops are given twice monthly on nonconsecutive Tuesdays from 3:00 to 6:00 pm.

The workshops are in person at our offices, which are located at 804 Margaret Street in St Paul (in front of the Mexican Consulate)

The workshop is free.

All of our services are offered exclusively in Spanish.
