Ariel is part of LEDC’s Business Development team, providing technical assistance, training, and coaching to entrepreneurs and established businesses in Minnesota.
Ariel studied Entrepreneurship and Business Development in Bolivia and holds a master’s in Economic Development and Evaluation from the University of Minnesota. His work experience includes technical advising and mentorship for entrepreneurs in Bolivia. He also has experience in the nonprofit sector supporting the planning, implementation, and evaluation of community outreach projects with a focus on women and indigenous communities.
As part of his master’s studies, Ariel worked with organizations in Africa and Central America on development projects focused on increasing the efficiency of data use to improve the impact of programs and services offered in the community.
Through his work at LEDC, Ariel promotes systemic changes that address the needs of Latino communities through a lens of empathy and inclusivity. His work supports social equity and provides the tools necessary to achieve the sustainable growth of Minnesota’s Latino community.
